Licensing and Pricing
Since this video is useful both for individual and classroom or large group viewing, pricing is set according to the total number of individuals who will view the video.
A license or "right to view" must be purchased for each individual viewer/ licensee and the purchaser must agree to the contract which follows.
Licensing Agreement
This agreement entered into by Sam Rhine and Purchaser is a legally binding contract.
Sam Rhine agrees to provide to each licensee (paid viewer) for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase, the right to view the video.
Purchaser agrees to make the video available only to those individuals for whom a license has been purchased.(Example: If Purchaser buys 30 licenses for in his Bio 1 classroom, he may use the video multiple times in that classroom. But he may NOT use the video in his Bio 2 classroom without purchasing additional licenses.)
The video is the exclusive property of Sam Rhine and may not be copied, sold, shared or reproduced in any way, in whole or in part.
Cost
The cost is similar to that of the live conference-- $15 per person. (The actual cost breakdown is tiered and is more for small groups and less for larger groups.) Although most teachers have the students pay for the conference individually, some have received outside funding from civic groups, science clubs, local businesses and community organizations.
Once purchased, the video is available for 30 days (longer upon request). This provides for use of the video in the classroom-- either for review or to view the entire conference in parts.
